That’s all it takes – 24 short hours to be back from fabulous summer travels and trodden down again by routine and duty.

We flew from Zadar into Dusseldorf Weeze (trusty Ryanair as always) landing late yesterday afternoon. Today we’ve been to work.

People are already bored with hearing about the Balkans. This has been a real adventure for us. We’ve lived out of our rucksacks, and covered a lot of miles. We’ve visited 6 countries (and slept in 4 of them).

It’s affirmed for us both that this is the way we want to travel; with perhaps a little more time on our hands, and a little less forward planning.

It does feel like a dream, but now I’ve woken up I don’t feel tired from such a packed adventure – I feel invigorated and ready for the next one.
