Yessireeeee! Nigel has his flashpacking backpack!

Following our trip into Dusseldorf to try out some rucksacks, my man chose his pack (and contrary to my worries about wanting to go cheap over quality, he made a sensible choice). It was swiftly ordered when we got home, and while we were away, Nige’s backpack was delivered – and not a moment too soon as it will get its first outing next week.

He seems to be quite excited about it, which makes me excited as it’s one more step along the road to travelling. He actually didn’t want to wait for me to take the car into work to bring the parcel home, he opened it straight away and actually wore it home on his bike!!

I had started to mildly panic that it wouldn’t actually arrive in time for the Balkans, but alles gut, and we’re ready to roam! Whoop!
